| Purpose |
The Online Histogramming subsystem allows User Histogram Tasks to retrieve histogram data from a number of Histogram Providers which could be user monitoring or analysis tasks, or tasks providing histograms already produced in a ROD. User Histogram Tasks request histograms with particular characteristics (e.g. for monitoring or analysis purposes) from the Online Histogramming subsystem which fulfils the request.
The Online Histogramming subsystem is not responsible for booking/filling, storage and presentation of histograms.
